The problem with this is that we are in posession of only 4% of the world’s oil, while we consume 25%. This will not work. Barack Obama on the other hand plans to reduce oil dependency all together as well as introducing a use the land or lose the land policy on existing American oil companies. This will work. John McCain continues to drone on and on about earmarks. The fact is that earmarks account for about 3% of the spending. Obama on the other hand bases his plan on helping middle class families by giving tax cuts to citizens who make less than 250 dollars per year. So McCain's plan wouldn't even pay for half of your healthcare for just one year. Obama would provide everyone with healthcare. If you don't have healthcare you can buy it or if you don't like your healthcare you can buy a different kind. I mostly agree with Obama’s plan because of the reason it seems very realistic and possible compared to on the McCain website no real plan was said. The presidential candidates are very worried about the economy; both of them hope to increase personal savings rates which are at their lowest point since the great depression. Barack Obama and John McCain have very different policies. John McCain’s plan says that he thinks the U.S should continue in Iraq until Al Qaeda is defeated. I agree more with Barack Obama’s plan which is to pull troops out of Iraq as soon as possible. The war in Iraq has caused many American deaths and casualties.
